ABOUT ME

Super active and outdoorsy. I spent last summer hiking in the Alps for 3 months and cycling in Upstate NY. Now I'm trying to open a Whiskey Distillery in my hometown.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in self improvement and sustenance. I generally don't trust experts or specialist and like to do things on my own. I feel that most information is questionable. I appreciate impeccable quality in everything from food and wine to tools and door hinges. Construction, design and material choice is quite important to me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Traveled across New Zealand for 6 months back in 1998 and stayed with people I met along the way. I think that was my longest trip and I still have a lot of great memories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I tried to ride my bike across Papua New Guinea. In general, this is a bad idea.

I posses expert/significant knowledge on all operations pertaining to drilling an oil-well. I was a lead engineer for Schlimberger Drilling and Measurements. I also have extensive experience troubleshooting a wide range of scenarios common to the micro distilling industry and am knowledgeable on a variety of technical subject matter including 3D CAD, process equipment design and fabrication, electrical wiring, plumbing, design and implementation of Intrinsically Safe sensor systems, analog and digital sensor installation, data acquisition, statistical analysis, programming and computer networking.
