Hi / Olá. I'm a film director and podcast producer based in Lisbon, Portugal. I have a pitbull named Thurston who is the best roommate ever and we've traveled all over the United States and now Europe together. I love to do Crossfit, read books, go on long walks or hikes with my pup, and make and eat delicious food. I'm curious, love making new friends, and love living with an open mind and heart.

Don't get me wrong, I love a good hotel or airbnb. But I really miss the old days when I was younger and frugality forced a different kind of travel. There's something about financial limitations that can actually make travel more meaningful. It forces you to step outside of the four walls of a hotel room and get creative with where you'll sleep, how you'll nourish yourself, and in the end relying on the kindness of strangers (and repaying that kindness) is a far more meaningful and soulful way to move through the world!
