Former labor agitator turned politician who decided to drop all that and go to school for urban planning. I've found that most things I want in life are out there, and I just need to go get them. The more I travel, the more I learn about where I'm from.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm looking to have some places to stay or recommendations on things to see while I'm traveling, and return the favor when I'm in New York.

Interests

Exploring cities - climbing onto rooftops or in abandoned buildings, or just running around big public spaces, music, riding bikes anywhere, public art, hiking, finding good views for sunsets, making a full day after starting out with no plans, excursionismo, bicicletas, y estudiar español.

Musica: punk rock, soul, reggae, jazz, some nice samba or a little soca, and noisy/ chaotic stuff. anything that could only exist in the place it came from.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing a little mountain in the middle of Scotland in the middle of the night to see the Northern Lights. A blind old hermit with a beard down to his belly came out of his little house with his dog to see what we were up to. Even though he couldn't see, he was describing them to us. We watched them together for hours and it COMPLETELY BLEW OUR MINDS
