Über mich
CURRENT MISSION
To have an adventure; I've got some diem to carpe!
ABOUT ME
I have realized that there's no possible way I'll be able to see all the places I'd like to before my time on Earth is up. But what the heck, I'll give it a go anyway. And traveling, I find, is always made better if there are locals with whom you meet up to give you their special insight into their town.I recently finished my Bachelor of Education on the Eastern coast of Canada and will be going to the UK to teach in the fall.Though Canadian, I'd say my humour has more of a British than a North American bent to it, and comedy is a passion in my life. It doesn't really matter if you're laughing at my joke or at me; all that really matters is that you're laughing!
PHILOSOPHY
A dream is pretty, but the memory of a dream accomplished is beautiful.
Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
For the moment, I'm not in a position to host couch surfers, though meeting, connecting, and enjoying moments with others in their own towns will have to be enough for now.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have only had one Couch Surfing experience to date, and it was great! A friend and I stayed at a wonderful man's place in Montreal, Canada. I had been unsure of what to expect, but that first experience has left me wanting more Couch Surfing adventures, and I am eager to start hosting.
Interessen
Rock climbing, good books, hot chocolate, traveling (surprise!) and particularly to out of the way places, the wilderness, comedy, music, history, slalom skiing, sports generally, conversations with friends, hiking, fencing (the kind with the swords, not the kind with the fence posts), hammocks, my Grandad's jellybean dispenser, the environment, and I'm a bit of a dabbler in languages.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe
I climbed the Alps with my elder sister a few years ago and subsequently saw a sunrise in the mountains, saw a number of voodoo ceremonies in Benin, participated in a Canada World Youth program, and got a free not-for-the-public tour of the Natural History Museum in Vienna by the curator himself. Apparently, meeting random people on trains who happen to be national choir singers and happen to be doing a gig in Vienna really pays off.
Lehren, lernen, teilen
If you'd like, I can teach you to juggle.I'd love to learn a single, peculiar piece of trivia about the place in which you live.I'll share my sense of wonder and appreciation of the world. Or my cookies, depending on which you'd prefer.
