我做过的一件不可思议的事情

One summer, I was studying abroad in Florence and we had a long weekend and one of the professors set up a side trip to Cinque Terre during the Lemon Festival.

The place we stayed was a little bed and breakfast style hotel on a little hill. All the people in the program had rooms on the top floor, three of which shared a big balcony/patio area. After we finished checking in, we were hanging out up there, relaxing and having a few drinks before checking out the town because it was a really nice, refreshing evening.

Then all of a sudden, we had the perfect seats for the coolest fireworks show ever. It was a complete surprise and a sweet way to start the weekend. It was like the whole town was celebrating the fact that we were there.
