Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Live consciously, with purpose and joy.
ABOUT ME
My husband, Adan, and I are pretty chilled people. He is 4 years older than me and a 3D Animator. He won't make his own profile because he doesn't like writing about himself... (insert eye roll here).
We are friendly and down to earth people. A bit geeky, very dorky and we can be friends with anyone!
We try to be as personable as we can. We are very open-minded, accepting and chill.
PHILOSOPHY
Live and let live.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
It is nice to believe in the goodness of others. It's great staying with people who can show us how the locals do it. It is so much more memorable.
Interests
Sophie:
Cooking, quilting, talking to strangers, eating delicious food.
Adan:
Craft beer, gaming, VR, savory food, music, politics and knowledge.
Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Adan and I have mostly different tastes in movies. We overlap on good movies about people. Adan likes new movies. I like to watch the same movies over and over.
Music: I'm more mainstream classic rock. Adan likes all sorts e.g eastern European brass band type stuff.
Books: We're not big readers, which probably surprises some people because we seem like the type that would be.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Visiting Prince Edward Island, the birthplace of Anne of Green Gables was a highlight of mine.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to make the best food in the world - bread and butter pudding.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer an open mind, genuine conversation and good food.
