About Me

Update: I'm moving to Barcelona this August 2019 for my MBA . Give me a shout if you are in Barca. Gracias :)

Hi everyone !!

I work for an MNC in Japan. I work as an Engineer/Market analyst for a healthcare company after completing my Masters.

Looking forward to meeting open-minded people who like to discuss about diversity, inclusion and acceptance and of course different cultures :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Having been "severely academic" all through my student life - I could not take up on the opportunities to travel.

I wish to see the whole world before 60.

I want to see the world. I have always felt I have bad sense of directions and am an handicapped traveler when it comes to so many things. I want to grow out of these. I want to meet new people, talk to them, eat great food, take good photographs for memory. But most importantly I want to return home after each trip - not tired, but energized and looking forward to my next travel.

Interests

I'm a trained Indian classical dancer. I have learnt various Indian dance forms. I am also a student of violin.

I write blogs and also do English creative writing doing spare time.

Recently I have also started cooking, since being away from home is indeed the best opportunity to do so. :D

Music, Movies, and Books

I have strictly no favorites in music and listen to anything which catches my attention and make me feel good.

The same goes for movies too. However, I do prefer genres like Animation (have watched almost all them), Superhero movies (X-men, Avengers, Batman, Superman etc), Sci-fi (Star wars, Star trek etc) , comedy and mythology.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Made a dance video in Bali, Indonesia at the major attractions there. Was fun being the centre of attraction of all the tourists and even posed for pictures with some of then.

Here is the video -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ow9cDuFJjTI

Teach, Learn, Share

I am not at all hard to open up or open up to. I do love having conversations regarding relationships, food, culture and so on.

What I always tell the people I meet is that, though I am from India - I can talk to you only about a slice of its culture, since its too diverse. But I can talk about my experiences as a gay person in India and Japan, and in Barca from this fall. ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts
