Overview
About Me
Hi there! My name is Ada, relatively new to Couchsurfing, but I have hosted and been hosted by others through different networks many times and have always made good experiences. I grew up in Germany, but have since lived in different places including Israel-Palestine, the Netherlands, and most recently Italy. I will be relocating from Florence to Dublin soon and am excited to explore yet another new place!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet and host fellow travellers! Also I am moving to Dublin in the beginning of November and am eager to meet people there and ease settling into a new home.
Music, Movies, and Books
I am super keen on sharing my love for music and films with others, I particularly enjoy Indie (Rock), Funk, and Disco - lately I've been rediscovering my love for Darondo a lot (give a listen to "Didn't I" if you don't know them) and always enjoy a tune from Habibi Funk. A book that stayed with me for a long time since reading is The Netanyahus by Joshua Cohen and Normal People by Sally Rooney. Otherwise I've been dabbling in some Japanese literature like Murakami and now Butter by Asako Suzuki.
Teach, Learn, Share
Always interested in language exchanges, especially, German, English, Italian and (Levantine) Arabic!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to cook with and for new friends and hosts and am always keen on sharing languages (I can offer fluent English and German and am interested in practicing my Italian and Arabic).
Countries I’ve Lived In
Germany, Israel, Italy, Lebanon, Netherlands, Palestine, United States
