About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to be real, make a difference, live lightly
ABOUT ME
A life long passion for travel that started with a trip to Mexico with my 8th grade Spanish class. I'm independent, adaptable, enjoy the company of good friends, the beauty of nature, and the playfulness of children. When I'm settled in one place, I try to find a great community choir to join, the farmers market, a yoga studio, peaceful trails, cafes, and someone who can help my budding interest in learning the saxophone.
I think my love of travel has really informed my current vocation and the work I hope to do someday - which is to make a real difference in our attempts to alleviate the suffering that happens through poverty, injustice and hunger. I'm a continual student in this arena. My work has included organizing to strengthen local food systems, as well as farmer group capacity building in the international context.
PHILOSOPHY
To be authentic, follow my heart and my gut, live from a place that recognizes some universal connection. To find a way to work and play and live from passion and compassion.
