We have lived in Moscow ID since October 2012. We love the community here, and love the 'buy local' movement.
We've been married 9 years, and have two rambunctious boys.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW WE PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We try to have a couch available for people coming through town, but we haven't been able to participate in a while due to moving houses and having a second child.
We love to play hosts and show off Alex's cooking skills, but not all meals will be provided. We are happy to point you in the direction of any form of entertainment or activities that you are interested in, if we are unable to come along and play with you!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have been host to people from England, Germany, Canada, New Zealand, China, and of course the states. Two of the surfers from the states were in the process of bicycling across the country.

Interests

Alex: I am very much interested in photography. I love rock climbing, it is one of my favorite outdoor activities. I have done some traveling and would love to do more.
Sonya: I'm deeply involved in my work as a doula and a mother. I'm also currently writing a fiction novel. I love to read, sing, and scrapbook.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Our first born son was delivered in a birthing tub at home and Alex was the one who 'caught' or delivered him.
