ABOUT ME

I couldn't even begin to think of how to describe myself in a box...But I'll give a brief overview that I'm an English guy living in Manchester with a wide range of interests. These include traveling, cooking, eating out, meeting friends (old and new), learning new things, reading, writing, theatre, cinema, lots of different music, museums/galleries, photography, languages, the outdoors and loads more. My tastes and my interests are eclectic and I'll always be willing to try something new!

PHILOSOPHY

I like to just be as positive as possible, try to get on with everyone, try to take any opportunities that come my way and generally enjoy life as much as possible!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have only just joined but have already been to a couple of social events, really enjoyed them and got to speak quite a few languages too. Am looking forward to getting involved more, meeting even more amazing people and generally having a great time!

Music, Movies, and Books

I have really varied tastes in all but here are some of my favourites for each section:

Movies: Stuff by Almodovar, The Yacoubian Building, U-Carmen eKhayelitsha, Moulin Rouge, The Lion King, stuff by Hitchcock, The Silence of the Lambs and loads more

Music: Prokofiev, The Flaming Lips, Mahler, Metallica, Tori Amos, Britney Spears, Tchaikovsky, Beethoven, Cesaria Evora, Oscar Peterson and loads more.

Books: Stuff by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Sartre, Ionesco, Moliere and many others as well as loads of non-fiction stuff on history, anthropology or people that interest me!:)

Teach, Learn, Share

I have various language skills to share and would also love to learn new ones off other people. I have been to a Teach. Learn. Share event and think the whole thing is a great idea!
