About Me
Hello there!
Currently living in Taipei and studying for master of asia pacific studies.
Current missions: trying new Taiwanese cuisines, learning Chinese, and hiking as many trails as I could.
I'm Marina, originally from a small city called Yogyakarta which is quite popular with its ancient temples and unique cultures. I enjoy photography and traveling including that feeling of waking up in different places and getting the excitement of talking to other people about their travel stories or just simply taking pictures and enjoying the moments.
Sometimes I do spontaneous things and often make bad travel plans and decisions. But those things are the spices to my travel, things that get me exited. You know, we plan things but just let the journey filling the rest.
Hopefully doesn't sound too cliche 😂
Two more, I like horse riding and playing ukulele (not an expert sadly)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- Fell down from galloping horse
- Set up a tend at a remote beach then left it to get dinner to the nearest village approx 45 mins walk and got back just to find out that the rising tide wave got into our tend 🙈
- Paragliding took off running from the top of the hill and landed at the beach down the hill
- Hiking my first mountain called Snow mountain 雪山 (3886 m) during winter, almost got hypothermia and got six purple foot nails bc I didn't realize how hard it'd be for first timers.
- Went on short 2 weeks backpacking trip to Malaysia, Cambodia, and Vietnam. (And couldn't believe that we found a hostel US$1/night in Vietnam)
- Spent 2 weeks in Thailand. Learned to Scuba dive and got my Padi license in Koh Tao (2nd cheapest place to get certified in 🌏)
