I'm an European, born in Belgium with italian blood flowing in my veins and in love with Prague, Czech Republic. The city I have been living in for 3 years with my wonderful wife.

I'm a very open-minded person always keen to meet new people. Though I spend most of my day time on a computer as I'm a web developer it doesn't hinder me to make new friends and be interested in learning new things.

My wife gave me the hiking virus a year ago. It was painful in the beginning, but it worked out eventually. I (We) will be glad to tell you the whole story if you ask me (us).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used to host couchsurfers in my apartment back in Belgium. Connecting with those people was a really enriching experience as I could learn about their culture and countries. It also gave me the opportunity to speak English. At the time, it wasn't glorious but funny. Since then, I made a lot of improvment, no worries then.

While hosting friends or couchsurfers, a thing I liked a lot was sharing tips about my city and how to squeeze the most out of their journey. As time goes by I realized this was something I was expecting from locals while travelling. I strongly think couchsurfing is one of the best ways to exchange..
