I heard about couchsurfing from a book I read about traveling the world while spending less money.
Anyway, I was born and bred in Lagos, Nigeria. I spent the middle part of my life in Ogun, Nigeria, and I schooled for a long time in Ibadan, Nigeria. So I'm a local in South West Nigeria, the most densely populated region of Nigeria.

Currently I'm saying on Lagos Island, AKA Lekki , where most tourist and travellers base when they come to Nigeria. I'm currently planning my work/study visa to Canada/USA , but there is no pressure from my end.

I am a self published author on amazon and okadabooks.

My personality type is INTP(Analyst) , so you can already imagine the kind of person I am 🤗 . I'm the "deeply philosophical, curious 🧐and inquisitive person). I love the intellectual exchange. And I love my intellect getting challenged, it's all a game to me, I don't take it personally.

I am seriously learning french on Duolingo, and I hope to meet other french speaking people with whom I can practise. I really enjoy meeting people from vastly different cultures , learning about them and also teaching about my own culture(I'm a Yoruba man by the way, the same tribe as the Nobel Laureate Winner Prof Wole Soyinka) 😉

Anyway, I'm excited to meet people from other countries who happen to be on Lagos island too.

And no, I'm not a physician, but I happened to formally study medicine and surgery for quite some time, before stoping it, so yes, I do know some stuffs. Data science just fits right for my personality, and I can't wait to start practicing it with Google or IBM or one of those BIG names 🥵😂

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I will never forget in secondary school (high school )how I was able to prove the formula of the volume of a sphere using calculus without being taught beforehand. I immediately showed my math teacher the workings on the sheet of paper, he just smiled. I felt goosebumps and was so proud of myself.

I must confess I was actually obsessed with calculus in High school, the day an epiphany came to me, was the day I was able to derive the formular. (I was actually going to explain the math procedures here on CS, but I remembered that's not the purpose of CS 😂)
