I am Adel. I am currently living in Finland and doing my Masters degree.

As a kid, I used to go out in the neighborhood and start making friends with other kids playing in the street. Typically meeting people and becoming friends was always a part of my life.

At school, I used to put a lot of efforts in my studies to be at the top of my class. I got distanced from social life and had always prioritized study over everything else.

My life changed after I met more people with different personalities, specially those people who can manage their time engaging in lots of activities while being moderate. That's what I call making every moment count.

I love mathematics very much. It was a book I bought from a shopping fair in the school that made get into learning math like never before. The book was talking about the wonders of numbers, history, tricks and other amazing stuff about puzzles. Not only the sensation of learning those things was purely astonishing, it helped me to look for more books ranging from Olympic level mathematics to things that have no specific application anywhere. It never ceased to amaze my curiosity.

I decided to become a Math teacher. Well, maybe it started that way. As a dream, but doesn’t everything? Those buildings. These lights. This whole city. Somebody had to dream about it first. However later I though found my preference in Engineering Sciences and hence kept math as a hobby.

I like to participate in outdoor activities very much.
I enjoy playing different kind of sports namely: Football, Basketball, Ping Pong, Volleyball, Running, Walking up/down the stairs (weird, right?), Parkour, Swimming and recently I started Hiking.

I love sketching/painting. Although I am an amateur and I don't know the best way to sketch, I just grab a paper once in a while and then start to draw a replicate of the picture I see in front of me. They appear nice at the end but I believe my work is outclassed by many people in terms of time to finish one art work.

I like to travel a lot. When I travel, I enjoy my time, I meet new friends and I start learning more about the real world and people's life which I can reflect it on myself. I hope I can start traveling different cities in the world soon after I start my professional career and meet awesome people in my journey. If the chance rises, I'll take action directly! I always motivate myself that there are always ways to deal with things. No matter how small the chance might be of striking lucky, the chance was there.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The primary reason is because one of my friends introduced me to this website and I was thrilled in so many ways.

I really want to meet people in the city I live in and see what is going on in the world from other people perspective and have a friendly chat about random stuffs.

There is no better way than having people show me around while traveling to a new city. Seeing new culture, knowing their traditions and enjoying my time with new people I meet seems to be really interesting. I believe it will make my trip a memorable journey.

Music type preference: Classic music
Reason: Listening to "Beethoven Für Elise" for the first time was very comforting.
Others: Too many classic musics I can't recall their names.

Type: Action Film, Thriller, TV shows ranging from superpower, education, technology and medicine, magic, and etc.

I don't read books other than what my academic courses suggested. At least not yet.
Hopefully I can start reading many books soon as soon as I become more free from studying.
There are good collection of books Bill Gates recommend every year which I put in my to do list. However, I didn't read them yet to nourish my mind.
