Hello, please call me Adel. I am a traveller from the Czech Republic, studying at Innopolis University. I have started travelling since I turned 18 visiting Latvia. It was my first time I tried couch surfing and it was amazing! I learnt so much during this trip, meet interesting people and decided to travel even more!

I am travelling not to tick more and more countries as visited or not to post more fancy photos on soc. media, but to experience the world not just digest filtered information published by somebody else. Travelling is for me freedom to find myself, to see good and bad side of places I am visiting, to learn about culture of local people and time just to stop, look around and enjoy the present moment.

Thanks to Couchsurfing I am exploring not only new countries, but also how people live. I am excited to learn more about your habits and hobbies. I will accept your home rules and try to live as you do, so if you are a vegetarian, I will be so; if you wake up early and run in the morning, I will be happy to join you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Living in hotel is too boring. On Couchsurfing I do not feel so much as a tourist. Also I like meeting locals and joining events on CS!

Interests

I like learning and experiencing something new - for example, in Indonesia I tried playing a traditional music instruments, in Russia I prepared pelmeni by myself, in Italy I learnt how to sail on a historical tall ship, etc. And I would be happy if you can also teach me something you like or if we could learn something new together!

Also I love to visit art galleries and theatres, watch art-house movies, hiking, climbing, cycling, swimming, playing tabletop games, cooking... I am also quite creative person, since I relax while painting, or writing novels.

We can play some card or tabletop games. If there is a climbing wall nearby we could go climbing (do not worry if you do not like heights, we can go on boulder walls). Also, we could make some nice pictures.

If you are worried about the future impacts of AI, I would be also happy discuss it with you. I can explain you the current state of the art of this technologies and how can it effect us in the future.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Currently I cannot host, since I am studying in Innopolis, but I will be happy to meet you and show you my city and enjoy some local or not so much local food :)
