ABOUT ME

I'm just a Swedish Philology student living in a small Masovian town called Wyszków :D

I find it pretty difficult to describe myself, but I'll give it a try! I would call myself a friendly, open-minded and curious about the world person. Kind of nerdy as well xD I like to meet new people, learn about different cultures and languages, Besides traveling, drawing is my another big passion. I also like reading, video and board games, movies, cooking and going to different music and art festivals, or events like anime conventions. I'm learning how to play guitar and I also like to sing.

There are many countries in the World which I'd love to visit, but one of my biggest dreams is to visit Greenland! I'm also thinking about backpacking in India, Mongolia and South America and I hope to make these dreams come true one day ^^

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've heard a lot of positive opinions about Couchsurfing from friends. I think it's a great way to travel and meet new people :) Unfortunately, currently I'm not able to host anyone. But I'd love to meet up and give some tips about what to do in Wyszków and Warsaw :D

Music, Movies, and Books

There are so many of them that I can't even list! I have varied taste in music and movies. I like calm, indie music, hard rock and punk music, folk/viking metal... to be honest, I can listen to almost everything :D The same with movies. I have a few tv shows that I'm really into! For example Breaking Bad, Twin Peaks and Once Upon A Time.

As for books, I really enjoy criminal novels, especially scandinavian ones (Camilla Grebe & Åsa Träff, Yrsa Sigurdardóttir, Jo Nesbø- I can highly recommend their novels! ). I also like to read novels of manners, historical novels and autbiographies.

I've seen Skálmöld and Korpiklaani live, and even managed to talk to Skálmöld members in person!

I tried surströmming while in Sweden xD

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm always willing to learn new things, including languages! Currently I'm learning three languages, but I would like to learn much much more of them. I would be also glad to help with basics of Polish (which is pretty difficult language, even for Polish native speakers xD ) or with preparing some Polish dishes :D

I can share my knowledge about Polish culture and interesting places to visit there, facts about weird Polish sense of humour and lifestyle xD
