CURRENT MISSION

I plan to budget perfectly so I can take my trip to Maui this Christmas. There are campouts in banana groves and caves with ocean on the other side in my future.

ABOUT ME

I am a very positive person. Things always seem to work out for me, which is why I feel I can travel and have everything fall into place. But I am very organized as well. I plane well in advance, yet I can enjoy the surprises.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am still pretty new to the college town I'm living in. If you would like a tour of it, I'd be more than happy to meet you and show you the place. It's beautiful!
I cannot necessarily provide my couch, but have many contacts and could probably find you a place to stay.

Interests

I love to paint with watercolors and dance (salsa, modern and many others).
I am also a huge fan of music and sing a lot - not always in front of other people, but at least to myself.
I am very interested in farming - especially on an organic or alternative farm. At this point, I am pursuing a career as a holistic health counselor.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Every night when I was in India, I would sit on the roof watching the sunset. Somehow, the sun is always a hot pink that you can look directly at without it hurting your eyes. The roofs are all flat and many other housewives would sit atop their own houses in plastic lawn chairs as it became dark and the bustle of life finally slowed down.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am taking salsa lessons and can bring guests to dance with. I also have a lot of knowledge about food - not the cooking of food, but sources of good raw ingredients and knowledge of plant nutrients.

I would really like to become better at speaking Spanish.
