About Me

I am a study abroad student from Syracuse University. I love theatre and film (I'm majoring in Acting) and other forms of art. I absolutley love making new friends when I visit other places. And the reality that we'll likely never see each other again makes it easier to leave inhibitions behind and just make great connections. Eating food is one of my favorite things to do, and it's a super cool way to experience another country/city's culture. I really like discussions and arguments about big ideas and philosophies, especially when meeting new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think the best part of traveling is learning how the locals live, so couchsurfer seemed like a cool way to do that. I really enjoying exploring a new country's foods, museums, and natural terrain. I also am a poor college student, so paying for places can get really stressful when I also have to pay for food lol. My neighbors from home were also couchsurfer hosts and high recommended it, so I thought I'd try it out! I'm hoping to meet some really cool people and avoid getting caught in tourist traps.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach people about history of different topics like theatre, the middle east, medieval Europe, and US. My other interests include world religions and theatre (of course). I am willing to learn about literally anything. I value learning very highly, so any new information about a new place is something I am interested in. Specifically learning how to cook different recipes from different places would be awesome since I only know a handful of recipes (like I said I'm young and poor). I would also love to learn Spanish, so if any hosts speak Spanish then I would love to keep practicing that as I don't want to be a monoglot for the rest of my life. I'm willing to share my food and my booze and my party favors. I just want to have a fun time!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have an immense theatre history knowledge! I am a pretty good conversationalist (have to be as an actor). I'm pretty good at navigating to different areas. I can cook, so if need be I can provide a meal one night. I sing and act so maybe my friends and I can put on a show lol. I am also pretty weird at times, so you will have constant entertainment at your fingertips.
