I love people. I'm interested in hearing as many different people's stories as I can, because I want to broaden my perspective on humanity. I believe that people are doing their best within the limits of what they know how to do, and I strive to be accepting of other people. My aim is to be at once very compassionate and very assertive, giving as much of myself as I can, but never giving so much as to drain myself of the energy I need to be well.

I'm good at explaining things patiently, and I'm also a good listener. I love language and grammar and am happy to teach English and explain idioms; also happy to speak and teach a little Spanish, but my Spanish is far clumsier than my English.
