I was raised on an island paradise situated off the southeast coast of Sumatra. When I turned 18, I left Bangka Belitung and boarded my first overseas flight to Australia 🇦🇺. There, I spent many weekends exploring the nature, and that sparked a passion inside of me for going on adventures!

After living in Sydney for two years, I moved to China 🇨🇳 for educational pursuit. During my first undergraduate year, I solo backpacked to Vietnam, Hong Kong, and Guangdong Province in China for around three weeks in total. I also traveled with my mother across nine cities in China (Hangzhou, Haining, Suzhou, Shanghai, Beijing, Pingyao, Xi'an, Chengdu, and Yangshuo) in a month.

I was in China for 1.5 years. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 outbreak went uncontrolled; I was forced to study off-campus entirely up until my recent graduation in June 2022. However, it is said that every cloud has a silver lining. I took advantage of my remote study arrangement to explore Indonesia. In 2021, I spent 2 weeks in Billiton, 5.5 months in Bali, and 2 months in Malang!

Currently, I am undergoing a PhD training in the area of computational biology in the United States 🇺🇸. I feel beyond blessed to be able to pursue my research passion!

I have always enjoyed learning new things. For that reason, I'm happy to hang out with anyone of any age, gender, race, religion, or background! Please note that I am not looking for anything romantic, I am happily in a relationship.
