ABOUT US

We are Adele and Alan, born and bred in Ireland, but currently moving to NZ to start all over again!

Adele: Trained as a doctor in Galway (best city in Ireland in my opinion) and have spent the past year in Dublin working in emergency medicine.

When I'm not stressed out at work I like to crochet, rock climb, run, learn useless facts about movies, annoying my boyfriend Alan and as I'm Irish I do enjoy a pint :)

Alan: Studied Engineering in Galway, that's where we both met! I've been living in Dublin for the past three years working as an electrical engineer doing a lot of data center work.

My own hobbies include starting bands and not gigging with them, playing guitar and singing, sometimes simultaneously, bouldering, cycling (sometimes for charity), dancing and writing poetry. Also I love animals and will pet whatever is nearby and tame.

At the moment, because We're constantly moving around, We can't really host, but would love to crash on some couches.

Interests

Adele: Telling useless facts I find interesting, watching comedy, rock climbing and bouldering, fan of rock/alt/soundtracks, customising clothes and accessories, playing ukulele very badly, partial to a gig or night out on the town.

Alan: Playing and listening to Music, Agriculture, Technology, a healthy dose of Pop Culture, Tiny Houses, Van Dwelling and vehicle conversions. Woodworking and carpentry

Movies - Anything Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and Edgar Wright are involved in, Almost Famous, Submarine, Monty Python, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, bit of Disney. We like loads of films, far too much to list.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Moved across the country and essentially left everything I knew behind. Ireland is a small enough place, but different cities can be such culture shocks.
