About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Returning Pangaea

ABOUT ME

I'm a college student who found enlightenment in the landscapes of the American west. I study natural resources and wilderness leadership at Oregon state university, and work as a park ranger on an active volcano. My passions in life are hiking, rock climbing, and photography. I love living new cultures and meeting people because each person i meet teaches me about a different niche in the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I feel the couchsurfing project elevates one's respect for a collective human race that is accepting of individual and cultural identity but understands unity. My part, like everyone else here, is to help make this happen.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted briefly when I lived in San Francisco, just before i moved to Oregon. I'm here to meet with anyone who is visiting the Willamette Valley or who is interested in a hiking or camping experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was traveling across the U.S. on amtrak when the little girl turned to me and explained how she could make lava using only mud, fairy juice, and a pomegranate. She will also learn how to climb a house for her next science project. Being that i work on a volcano and am a rock climber, i was in total support.

Teach, Learn, Share

I live my life as an outdoor educator. As a park ranger, i interpret the landscape. As a recreationist i find my peace in walking the earth. For people visiting the northwest for an outdoors experience, i can share.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Switzerland, United Kingdom
