Overview
About Me
I'm currently living in Madrid, Spain, teaching English.
I'm still trying to figure my life out.
I have two lovely cats back home in Texas. I will likely show you some cat pictures because they're beautiful enough to brag.
I eat more than you think I can.
Life is not complete without good wine, food and friends.
One of my favourite quotes, "there's time enough, but none to spare." - Charles W. Chesnutt. I understand that your time is valuable, I will not waste your time. That I can promise.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A friend in Milan got me into it. And I don't have much experience yet, but from what I've gathered so far, it's a whole community with people I want to be friends with. So...hello there!!
Interests
You can talk to me about anything.
I love food and wine. I can eat almost anything. I'm not picky.
I love politics, long debates (but I will not offend you. I will respect our differences), history, philosophy, music, films (passionately), books, cute animal videos, wit (YES), dark humour, good sarcasm, sports, yoga, standup comedy, art, fashion, human behaviours, people watching, languages...
we can talk about everything and nothing. I am a good listener! I've been told I have a calming voice! haha

Music, Movies, and Books
Oh..where to begin...I am doing 1001 books to read before you die. I love history and philosophy books. I read both fiction and nonfiction. Right now I'm reading the Open Veins of Latin America by Eduardo Galeano.
I try to watch at least one film every week, but my list keeps getting longer despite my attempt.
I studied Ethnomusicology when I was in the university, so music is a passion for me. I listen to indie groups, fado, spanish guitar, Korean indie, latin music, Brazilian bossa nova, French pop, new age...etc. I'm attempting to learn the Spanish guitar. Slow progress...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well...I'm living in MADRID!
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: languages I know, some cooking recipes, yoga, meditation
Learn: I'm open to learn what you wish to teach! But I am very much interested in instruments and cooking (+drinks)
Share: let's share our good tastes in life, our different/similar lifestyles, culture, adventures, philosophy and most importantly, some laughs.
