Hello everyone!

I'm Adelina, a Russian exchange student in the U.S. My placement is Missouri State University (Go bears!)

My program lasts for one semester only (Fall 2021), so I do want to explore as many new places as possible and meet new people!

Actually, I'm from the region in Russia called the Republic of Tatarstan, so I'm looking forward to sharing my double-culture (Russian and Tatar) experience with you! And I also want to learn more about life in America.

It's my very first time in the United States, so I hope it'll be fun and I'll gain some self-developing experience, as well :)

Música, películas y libros

Well, I don't have my favorite music, so my playlist is a collection of random songs I've once heard from my friends, on the radio, in a shopping mall etc. :)

But I do have my favorite movie, which is "Love you, Rosie"! I think it's an amazing love and friendship story, I watch it every time I want to feel some warmth and coziness.

I have been reading more non-fiction lately, so my favorite book is "I Hear You: Repair Communication Breakdowns, Negotiate Successfully, and Build Consensus…in 3 Simple Steps". I believe this book is an essential tool for everyone in the modern world.

Algo increíble que he hecho

My hobby is graphic design and designing presentations, in particular. I was making presentations just for myself or for fun, but once I went to a business conference where I met a local entrepreneur (who turned out to be quite famous in my city). He asked me whether I could design a presentation for him and that's how I got my first working experience in that area :)
