Hi, my name is Adelina and I am a 25 years old Romanian always looking for rocky places. I love mountains and I try to do pretty much everything that can be done around them, from bouldering, climbing, hiking to snowboarding, camping and sunset watching.

I am currently living, studying and working in Copenhagen, Denmark, but I am raised and born Romanian. I study web development and I work as a digital product designer for an eMobility platform. I love working with electric cars and sustainable companies, and helping the environment as much as I can.

I enjoy getting to know new people, learning about new places and life stories, especially over a walk and a beer, wine, even maybe a good whiskey. I am always down for boardgames and socialising, but I can respect the privacy of a closed door. Moreover, I can fall asleep in any condition, which should probably be my superpower.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I decided to join this community because I started traveling alone lately and I would like to immerse as much as possible in the places that I visit. I find that is possible only through the people living there that are willing to share their experiences, and maybe join me in discovering new things. I enjoying making new friends in the most unexpected places and scenarios.

I like to listen to people and discover new stories, see new smiles and try keep in touch with the human side of travelling, in an era where everything is easily digital. Life's too short to go through it alone!

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste in music is strange to say the least, but I listen to pretty much everything from black metal to cringe pop and underground russian hard bass. My secret talent is that I can play at least 2 songs if you give me a random word, most of the times, on spot, and I might sing the lyrics as well.

When it comes to books I am very curious person therefore I read a bit of everything. Science, astrophysics, philosophy, fantasy, depending on what sparks my interest. Right now I am reading Dune by Frank Herbert, after watching the movie 3 times in the cinema.

Movies? Cringest comedies or psychological thrillers. Nothing in between haha.

Decided to start a new life in a new country where I knew no one right before covid hit. And successfully survived.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am currently learning paragliding, so I can't teach that for the moment, but I can share my skills in climbing, snowboarding, and dancing haha, as well as my best Spotify playlists and some good book recommendations.
I can probably offer a basic introduction into Crypto currencies and electric cars.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Bunch of laughs, good wine recommendations, some pretty decent cooking skills and therefore some traditional Romanian dishes. A quiet and clean company inside the house and a handy person if anything is needed. And some nice photos if I have my camera with me.
