About Me

CURRENT MISSION

"And this old world is a new world, and a bold world" Nina Simone

ABOUT ME

I've freshly moved in Marseille for my job. So now let's start discovering this new place. New city, new life!

PHILOSOPHY

Keep clear, personal and honest points of view in mind to have a self-awareness. Have an undestanding of what we are and what we can do to create better ways of life, even if it's just a little thing it's always a goog thing!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

CS is, for me, really a sane community. Give the opportunity to welcome someone, take a time for him/her/them, exchange and share with him/her/them our specificities of every day life and point of views.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My CS experiences were in Canada and UK, with friends and alone. It was always a good experience.

Interests

I'm curious of so many things, my interests could be so vast... even if we speak about the case of mussels in the Saint Lawrence River! I got a degree in Art History and a master in cultural management. I'm really fascinated by arts in general, and I've a specific interest in visual arts (contemporay art, photo...). I enjoy practicing outdoor activities as hiking, snowshoeing, biking. And of course, I love travelling and discovering new horizons and people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a "bookholic", my favourite are certainly "Le Petit Prince" by Antoine de Saint Exupéry, "One hundred years of solitude" by Garcia Marquez... and so many others!!! I bet to read 2 books from "Les Rougon-Macquart" each year, the serie of books written by Emile Zola. About music, I listen so many different styles. For example, I like New French scene, vocal jazz (Nina Simone, Sarah Vaughan...), French Canadian musics (Les Colocs, Jean Leloup)...
My favourite film is "le Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain" by Jean-Pierre Jeunet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

a sunset on a landscape wherever in the world!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm curious...so come on!My English in not really perfect (...), so give me a chance (with time and patience) and I will do the best that I can!
I like cooking (mainly cakes!), always ready to take a walk, a cup of tea and have a chat! Or if you want some (basic) lessons of French, let's start! ;)

Germany, Italy, Russian Federation, Spain, United Kingdom, United States
