ABOUT ME

Hey! Im Adelle, I'M currently a student who loves to travel and find adventure wherever I go. My partner is French and living in France and i do what i can to travel over to Europe and see him. He has continuously allowed me the opportunity to open my mind and do new things and i've loved each one! Rock climbing, hiking actual mountains (not the hills we have in the very flat Australia), abseiling, all different types of skiing and even a bit of slacklining.
So now I pretty much just want my life to be one big adventure and being worldy and cultured is a massive part of that!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

Living with and like a local from day 1 in a new place... doesn't that just sound perfect!? I'm not into the big tourist things, because there's just too many cliches and people all int he one place. I do love getting outdoors and yeah the tourist things are good to see, but i'd rather uncover the secrets of a place like only a local can!
Currently, being a full time student and saving to head back to France I cannot host as I live with my family out in the country, but I'd love to meet new people and if i'm around on weekends can explore Melbourne or other beautiful areas that Victoria has to offer with anyone who would like some company.

I'm not a very shy person, I love singing, baking, exercising, going on adventures, spontaneity, call me dorky but learning is great aha, currently learning french and studying education so if i don't like learning i've wasted a bit of time in an education course ;)
Always willing and open to trying or failing at new things and laugh at myself along with you and whoever else is lucky enough to see the foolishness.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Listen to just about anything, I tend to know a lot of lyrics to songs and if I don't will pretend I do.
Love movies that make you think or have good morals. Some of my favourites are ;
- imitation game
- a beautiful mind
- stand by me

same with books if I find one I like, its finished so soon because I can't put it down.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Sky dived in Hawaii overlooking the Pacific ocean, Honolulu with the coast, whales and turtles in the middle.
Spur of the moment decision 8pm at night in a hostel, slept and had jumped by 8am the next morning.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I'm studying education and my TEFL certificate (teaching english as a foreign language) so i can teach english,
I'm learning french and aim to be fluent by October next year by my birthday! :D
And I can share stories, a beer or wine or spirit or concoction, a ride, an experience or an opportunity.

I love getting to know people, I have a bubbly personality and have been told i'm good at understanding people of other cultures who may not speak english as well as they'd like to. I love laughing and always willing to help out.
