I'm a free spirit and have an amazing life.
Australian born and raised, lived in Canada since ‘09 until 2022.
I'm pretty random and I like random adventures.
I like to think I can cook as i cooked for most of my life.
I'm an avid number plate (license plate) collector so I like to be able to find plates.
I love to get away and explore cities, craft beers, people, countryside.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Ive hosted a heap of people back home and a few here in Ottawa; all of whom have been great! Ive also been hosted in North and Central America. Ive hosted a couple of poker nights here in Ottawa as well as some in Adelaide.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Has been an amazing experience. I've met some really awesome people and I have enjoyed every minute of showing them around my city and spending time with them. As for being a guest, Ive have had nothing but great hosts who have taught me so much about their countries, cities and culture and gone out of their way to make sure Im well taken care of :)
Ive had some pretty cool experiences with my hosts and guests, such as having italians cook Italian food for me in my house, been guided up a volcano in Guatemala by a host, got alcohol poisoning with a host in Milwaukee, attended a crazy CS Christmas party in Brooklyn in 09 and have been amazed at the experiences and how much local culture I was able to experience staying with locals everywhere Ive been!

Interests

I love to travel, i love my friends, drive, road trips, the outdoors, summertime!, beers on the beach, foreign cultures, people, cooking, picnicking, pubs, cute animals, hiking, camping, meeting strangers, wineries and museums.

I watch a lot of documentaries about anything and everything, I like comedies otherwise.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The reaction kid's had when I brought them a sack of rice to their orphanage in Phnom Penh. It was a very moving experience and I will never forget it. Giving a baseball to a lad in Havana who was hitting a bottle cap with a stick was pretty epic also.
