About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Grow up and get younger — if that makes any sense.
ABOUT ME
Although I'm generally good at finding words (hey, that's part of my job), I always seem to have a hard time talking about myself.
Let's try once again. Here we go, in 10 words.
imaginative / messy / soft / clumsy / contemplative / naïve / curious / sleepyhead / honest / agoraphobic
SUCCESS !!
PHILOSOPHY
Watch, understand, learn, never judge.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I can show you around Paris and a few nice places around that not many people know of.
Don't really ask me about the nightlife though, unless it involves lying in a dark place to watch the stars for hours.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've couchsurfed four times, every one of them being a different and amazing experience. Meeting great people, discovering wonderful places, chatting, laughing.... that's what life is about.
I've also had the pleasure of showing various parts of Paris to bright and interesting people, having lots of fun in the process everytime. Maybe you can be next ;)
Interests
Photography, walking, music, video games, science, reading, watching ice hockey at night (GO HABS GO!!).

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Depends on the mood I'm in. Favourite bands/acts include the Cranes, Faithless, Thievery Corporation, Dead Can Dance, IAMX, Blonde Redhead, the Legendary Pink Dots, the Durutti Column, Schiller, Juno Reactor, Alexander Borodin (a great Russian composer), Flëur (ukrainian pop band) and Kent (swedish pop/rock).
Books: Too many to single one out. As of April 2012, the most recent book I enjoyed was Mardock Scramble, by Tow Ubukata.
My favourite writers are Yasutaka Tsutsui, Jorge Luis Borges, Dan Simmons and Neil Gaiman.
My favourite movie of the last few years is 'Let the right one in'.
(And any movie with Ellen Page.)
Oh, I like (creative) video games too. The Panzer Dragoon series being my personal favourite.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Exchanged inquisitive glances with a wild bear and its bruin less than 10 meters away, alone in nature. I wasn't scared. At least not on the spot. (I MAY have been a bit shaky for a while after they left, but I won't elaborate on that. Next question please.)
Been to Berlin a few weeks before the Wall fell (I was young but I still remember it a bit. It seemed like a pretty normal wall to me at the time but hey, I was 5).
Teach, Learn, Share
I might teach you some random and totally useless things.
My knowledge is unfortunately limited regarding useful things.
As for learning, well, I'm a curious man.
So I'll happily listen to anything you might teach me.
Even if it's useless. Especially if it's useless.
