ABOUT ME

I love exploring places, meeting new people, and discovering the world as I live in it. I love anything to do w/ art, music, travel, and being outside. I spent a couple semesters abroad in Paris during my college years, taught English in Bretagne for two years, tried to make it in big-city Washington, DC, spent a couple months in London and Hamburg. I'm currently living and working in Chicago at a French-language school. I'm still, and always will be, drawn to my true home of Northern Michigan, and hope to once again settle there one day.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

lived in Paris for a semester and again over the summer... studied West African music & dance in Guinea... hired a local guide & went hiking in the Haut Atlas mountains in Morocco... lived, survived, and thrived in Bretagne as a teaching assistant for two years... snorkeling and getting a crazy sunburn in St John... epic beer-tasting weekends in Portland, San Diego, St Louis, Madison... and pretty much every weekend spent Up North with my family, around a campfire, listening to the spring peepers, hunting morel mushrooms, and taking in the oh, so fresh air.
