ABOUT ME

Just moved to Toronto for graduate studies after working for two years on designing electronics for a lunar landing mission.

I grew up in Nagpur, Maharashtra in India and moved to Manipal in the state of Karnataka two years ago to pursue Engineering. I have been curious about how things work since my childhood and always have wanted to contribute towards making this world a better, greener place. I started working on the student satellite project in my college in the first year of college. So we were making a real nano satellite that will be launched into orbit! It used to take of my free time after college and I loved what I did!

I love cycling(and going green) and regularly go on trips with a small group of friends. To most places in and around my college I walk and cycle. I am a very curious person.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a simple person, dont know much about philosophy. But I firmly believe that this life is the one chance we have to experience all we can and contribute towards making the world a better place.

I came to know about couch surfing from friends and I love the idea...Have not had a surfing experience yet..... Eager!

Music, Movies, and Books

well, I dont read much but some of the books I have read and I really love are: The Alchemist, Jonathan Livingston Seagal, Surely you are joking Mr. Feynman, Dreams to reality and Wings of Fire.

I love listening to different types of music, right from Indian Classical to contemporary Indian to western music....

Among my favorite movies is Forest Gump, A beautiful mind, Inception and many others..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Floated in air! Got on a ZeroG flight!
Presented a paper in an international conference at the age of 19.
Working on a satellite that is actually going to be in space!
Driven a tractor, worked on a farm.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you the languages I speak well(hindi, marathi, bengali), a lot about Indian culture and food!. I can go on and on teaching you about science, specifically satellites and how we are incorporating things used in bigger satellites on a nano/student scale! I love discussing about renewable energy solutions in different places.

I would love to learn about the history and the culture of the places I visit and people I meet...
