My name is Adi and I am 26. Originally I am from Bulgaria, but during my studies I lived in Madrid, Spain and Lancaster, England. As a project manager I have also lived in London and in Belgium. All of these cities have a very special place in my heart in a different way. If I have to describe myself as a city, I would definitely say I am Madrid.

I started travelling as a very young girl and now it is a way of life - I try to go a place a month if not more. My all time favorite thing is walking around a city and finding secret hidden places, never following a map. I am not a foodie but I love to sit in an restaurant, never even open the menu and ask to bring me the waiter's most favorite meal - I like the thrill of not knowing what is the cook preparing.

I am a sporty person and adore trying new things. My proficiency in salsa, volleyball, hawaiian surf, kite surf, drawing, rock climbing, crossfit vary from 'just tried' to 'very good' but I like them all. I definitely need to master my hawaiian surf skills as I really like it but haven't had the chance to practice too much. My next one on the bucket list is sky diving.

I have been on Couchsurfing website for over 2 year but never decided to give it a change. I really enjoy meeting locals and finding the little things about a city that are not described in a travel guide (which I don't read any way). From what I imagine couch surfing is, I think this is the best way to meet locals.
