Overview
About Me
I'm a scientist and educator. I love the outdoors, Wodehouse, good scotch, a good yarn.
I am also proud pawrent to Shadow. I got him from a rescue shelter when he was a month old.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have a large place in a beautiful town and I'd like to be able to share this with travelers so they may get a glimpse of this lovely country and this lovely city.
Interests
I'm fairly up to speed on local fauna, biogeography, ethnobiology, etc. I like to understand things, people, places in depth and try my best to research cultures and places.
I'm an amateur birder and can give you a fairly good tour of the area from a naturalist's viewpoint.
