While I travel for business, I want to experience each city beyond just the tourist spots – I want to immerse myself in the culture, learn from locals, and share stories. Couchsurfing feels like the perfect way to do that, while also giving back and hosting others when I can. One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once tried to negotiate a better deal for a hotel room in Milan... using only hand gestures and Google Translate. Spoiler: I didn’t get a discount, but I did manage to get an upgrade to a suite. Not sure if it was my charm or the sheer confusion on the receptionist’s face, but hey, it worked!
