Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would very like to travel by Couchsurfing service, because I want to spend my time with people from different countries, cultures, get to know local food and languages. It's also a good chance to share my own experience, language with hosts. In addition, of course it's a cheapest way to travel, so Couchsurfing is a great way to save some money for more trips!

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my favourite musucians are Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars, Linkin Park, The Weeknd, Imagine Dragons, Armin Van Buuren, etc.
I am very interested in science fiction and historical movies, such as "Schindler's List", "Inception", "The green mile", "Interstellar" and others. Favourite directors are Christopher Nolan and Quentin Tarantino.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my biggest challenges so far was a marathon in Almaty, 2015. I've been preparing for 4 months for this event, and in may a started my distance 42 km and finished in 5 hours 57 minutes. The hardest part was not to give up running after half of the distance, and I wanted to do so every 500m, however I managed to finish my run in 6 hours, receiving my medal of participant. I think that would definitely be one of the stories I would lilke to share it with my grandchildren.

Teach, Learn, Share

As a student with 2 years of work experience I realize that I don't have much to share from the professional experience. However, I think I've traveled enough to give some assistance with bookings, transportation, etc. I am also a perfect Kazakh and Russian speaker, and I think most hosts from Europe interested to get to know Russian culture and language, I am very familiar with it, so I can indroduce it to them. In addition, I've been working in USA for 3 months by Work&Travel USA program, so I can help managing it as well.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a guitar player, and my playlists includes dozens of English songs, so it would be a big pleasure for me to spend some time with hosts playing/teaching guitar lessons, singing. Knowledge of Kazakh and Russian languages gives me opportunity to introduce culture of Kazakhstan or any country from post-Sovet Union.
