Hi there!

I'm an artist and generally crafty person who loves making stuff with my hands. Sometimes it's big pencil drawings. Sometimes it's knitting a pair of mittens. Sometimes it's binding books and sometimes it's hand sewing a 14th century gown.

I might be a little bit reserved in the beginning (so typically swedish! How adorable! Let's all give her a hug!) but once someone start to talk to me about arts, crafts, historic reenactment, tattoos, art pedagogy, the struggling life of a cultural worker, alternative relationships or something else that I'm really in to I will talk with you for hours!
Don't get me wrong though, I really love to meet new people! And I find myself getting along pretty well with most people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’ve found with my limited experience in the matter that traveling gets so much more exciting and rewarding when visiting the locals then staying in a hostel. I’ve recently moved to a commune in a big house and can actually offer surfers a bed as well!

Interests

I love to sing, especially with others. I’m in a female choir that focuses a lot on stage presence and we sing pop, folk music and some classical music.

In 2016 I started training acroyoga and fell in love! I'm excited about teaching my body to do new stuff and getting stronger. Next goal is a solid handstand!

I like to go to medieval or viking-events. There we dress up in historical garb that we made ourselves and live in tents, cooking over open fire and so on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The only time I've traveled alone was in 2015 to Germany. It was a scholarship visit to the tiny village Kleinsassen where I stayed for 10 days on the countryside and had an art exhibition. Strange but fun.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm no expert in cooking food but I like cooking with others and would love to get some new inspiration, tips and tricks in that realm. Let's make dinner together!
(Preferably vegetarian or vegan.)

I wan't to find people to practice acroyoga/L-base acrobatics with. I'm mostly a flyer but can base some as well.

Just talking away and practice my english! And of course if you want to practice Swedish så pratar jag gärna med dig :).

I can teach you to knit, crochet, basic bookbinding, tablet weaving, naalbinding or help you with that loose button ;). And I wan't to learn all the crafts! Bring it!

When I find people to sing in harmonies with I get ridiculously excited.
