ABOUT ME

I was born in Romania from a couple of young and very nice parents with whom I love spending time.
Now I am a PhD student in Neuroscience in Trieste. This occupies most of my time, but when I can, I enjoy traveling to new places, spending time with my friends and drinking a good (or cheap) beer.

I try to be my best at everything I do, and enjoy it as much as I can.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't watch a lot of movies, but I really liked Hot Fuzz

I love Dire Straits and Mark Knopfler. I also like Clapton, Lynyrd Skynrd and Rino Gaetano.

The book I was impressed by recently was "The immortal life of Henrietta Lacks"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I guess going to study in Italy without knowing the language was quite daring, but I don't know if it's amazing. Maybe the fact that I passed the exams is.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could share my knowledge of biology and neuroscience with anyone interested.
For people interested in languages, we can teach you some Romanian and Latvian. We also have a fairly good knowledge of English and Italian.
We would benefit from learning to cook. :)
