About Me
Hi~ You can call me "Adinda".
I always love travelling, meeting new people & new experiences, and the most important is learning various cultures all over the world. For me this is one of my "Joie de Vivre", happiness in my life...
I'm interested in foreign issue, love to learn new culture, and eager to widen my knowledge.
I'm a moslem, so I can't eat pork or any seasoning contain it, nor alcohol.
Non-smoker, but I don't mind if you smoke around me.
And it doesn't bother me to hangout with you while drinking, I can get another menu :))
I am flexible & go with the flow.
Neat, love pets like cats & dogs...
Enjoy photography as an amateur.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think the best way to know culture of a country is to live with the local, feel the experience myself.
I love to participate in their daily life if it's possible, understanding their point of view...
I love learning languages, so stay with locals give me chances to learn new languages as well...
I don't wanna just meeting new friends, but having a second family as well...

MUSIC :
My music preference is very~ ecletic.
I love listening to pop, jazz, bossas, blues, hip hop, RnB, EDM.
I like listening to songs with various languages, both traditional & contemporary : English, French, Korean, Japanese, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Chinese, etc...
I can listen to rock, maybe rock progessive but not hardcore music.
BOOKS :
Harry Potter is my favorite books so far. I love magical world.
Honestly, I enjoy reading the news articles than novels.
But I do read one when I find it interesting.
MOVIES :
Science fiction. Biography.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach English & Indonesian traditional dance (Acehnese) while volunteering in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia for 2 months in 2013.
Teach Acehnese traditional dance to foreign people ( participated a folklore festival in Belgium)
Learning French & Korean up until now.
Learning Sundanese traditional instrument (Angklung).
Sharing current issues in politics & cultures in Indonesia & international generally.
I share my foods & drinks as well. :))
What I Can Share with Hosts
Experiences and stories.
Share my experiences as a journalist and tell more about Indonesia. As I am javanese, I could share you javanese cultures too.
If you're curious about Islam and living a life as Moslem, I can also share that experience.
It is important for me to share about my faith (if you are willing to know), because nowadays we realize there are so many prejudice about Islam, like Islamophobia.
Therefore, people will have wider knowledge about this religion, and feel no worry to hangout with one of them.
I promise you, I am a very common person who just love to travel, meeting people from all around the world. :))
And... perhaps could also share you a few souvenirs goodies. :))
