About Me

I was born in Bayonne, Bask Country, next to Spain and Atlantic Ocean. I grew up there and moved in Toulouse for my studies. Now, I am a Mathematics teacher in there. One of the reasons why I decided to do this job is the possibility to travel during my holidays.
When I don't travel or work, I'm a sportaholic! I love tennis which is the sport I practiced when I was young(er) - and that I practice once in a while now - , and above all I play Touch football which is a kind of rugby without rough contacts; that's why it's a mixed game! This passion made me travel as I play for French national team.
Otherwise I enjoy music, cinema, good food, long talks with my friends, reading...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I was a little girl, I've wanted to travel the world to discover great landscapes, having fun and discover new civilizations. I've taken one year off to travel around the world but I've always regretted not having met more local people in each of the country I visited.
Now I travel on my own and I want to change my way of travelling : I don't want to travel to see or make things but to have great memories with people who can teach me the way they live in their own country.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't really have one favorite band, it depends mostly on my mood! But I usually listen to rock, pop music but sometimes also blues, soul music.
My favorite books are 1984, Brave new World, The world according to Garp.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've taken one year off to travel around the world. And I want to do it again!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I don't really know what to say! It depends on my guests' tastes. But I don't want to be a person who just comes to enjoy a couch without talking, otherwise I would sleep in a backpackers!
Maybe cooking one french dish if it's possible to buy some stuff in the place where I am hosted :)
