Overview
About Me
An undergrad student from India, who is currently in Finland as a research intern at Aalto University. I have earlier lived in Japan for a couple of months, and it was a matter of time before I fell in love with her.
I have a thing for war facts, social chronology and generic history. I have grown to like skinny-dipping in the Gulf of Finland after a Sauna session. Kayaking and surfing are next on my bucket list. I would like to explore the unknown more than anything else.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe in immersion travel. Before visiting any place, reading a mighty lot about its contemporary history gives me vicarious pleasure. There's a certain euphoria associated with being able to connect the dots when experiencing such places first-hand. As much as the internet can be of help, stories full of sheen, when shared in person, could form the deepest level of immersion in our pursuits. I would like to bond with people off here and make some cherished memories. I also believe in budget travelling, part of which is why I am on here.

Music, Movies, and Books
RnB and POP (Billboard Tops)--> French POP-> Stromae? Kendji Girac? Indila?

Teach, Learn, Share
A bit of current-tech. A lot about old-contemporary history and culture, mostly from an Indian/Japanese perspective. Quite honestly, I would like to learn more about the ways things are done here in Finland (It would be an exciting task to contrast Finland with India/japan)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I will respect your privacy and personal choices. I will be grateful for anything that you can offer- a futon, a couch or a floor rug. I travel light, but I can try to bring with me non-local delights.
