Originally from India, I moved to Germany in 2018 to pursue a Master's degree in Neurosciences at the University of Göttingen. I fell in love with Europe after interning in France and then living in Denmark as a study-abroad student a few years back. Since then, I've found myself travelling whenever I can find the time, always on a little personal mission to discover new places, meet different people, and learn as much as I can. :)

I love travelling and exploring new places, trying to get to know them like a local would. It's always exciting to connect with people from different countries and cultures, exchanging experiences and learning a little bit from every person I cross paths with.

Interessen

I grew up learning and singing Indian classical music, and playing the guitar, so music has pretty much always been a big part of my life. In my spare time, I love cooking to jazz music, discovering quaint little cafes to read in, going bookstore-hopping or spending copious amounts of time in museum gift shops. While traveling, I'm mostly on the lookout for either good vegetarian food, art book shops or a good spot for a swim. ^_^

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Love listening to classic and alternative rock, indie, downtempo and some jazz. Always up for starting my day with a cup of tea and some hindustani classical music or a good ghazal. :)

Not a big movie/TV buff, but I like watching psychological thrillers, historical period dramas and a good rom-com every now and then. Can also shamelessly rewatch F.R.I.E.N.D.S a gazillion times.

Favourite authors are P.G. Wodehouse, Oliver Sacks and Agatha Christie.

Having grown up and lived in India, I've had the opportunities to travel quite extensively throughout the country. I've also traveled a fair bit in Europe and South-East Asia. I would love to share my culture, ideas, and stories and experiences from all my travels till date. I love cooking and food in general, and I have a massive sweet tooth, so I can also offer a nice Indian meal, or a fancy continental dessert. ;)
For me, personally, some of the most exciting parts of traveling include interacting with people I meet, having good conversations, exchanging stories and learning about different cultures, traditions and ideologies.

I can cook a scrumptious vegetarian meal, have a good conversation about music, art and books anytime, throw in a funny story or two from my travels in Europe and Asia, and of course, share all the exciting information I have about India and Indian culture. :D
