I was born/raised in India, but am a first generation immigrant to the amazing city of Chicago when I turned 11. I've grown up learning the ins and outs of the city, and realized how much I loved it as an adult. Having said that, I love travelling (have traveled the world over), and hope to continue doing so. I think this vast world has so much to offer, and I want to experience it as much as possible.

During my downtime, I love to read, work out, do yoga, meditate, dance, sing in the car if I'm driving for 15+ minutes, hike, watch movies/shows, hang out with friends and family, and enjoy a glass of wine with some great conversation.

I love meeting new people and making new friends, talking to them, and exchanging worldviews (I love sharing them, and love learning and respecting different ones).

Couchsurfing is a great community that lets people open up their homes and share space, and it provides an opportunity to meet new people for travelers. As I continue of traveling journeys, I hope to become a part of this great community.

Cleanliness (definitely not a rude house guest type person - I respect other people's spaces very much), conversation/experiences, food (I can cook some things which I'd be more than happy to do, or even put together a meal from store-bought things), and my own couch if they visit Chicago!
