About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live and Let Live. Travel and fly. Spreading the love!

ABOUT ME

I am a 24 year old girl, from Dubai and came to Sydney to study Masters. *yawn* [Truth is I wanted to get out of Dubai and travel]
I enjoy exploration, watching animal planet and doing activities like treasure hunts aka Geocaching! [When I am supposed to wait to meet a friend in a place, I look for something to find on the GC website #FavPastime]
I dream of becoming a pilot [got a chance to fly an aircraft!! woohooo!]... And, someday, I want to get a tattoo, skydive, bungee jump and do a deep sea dive in the Great Barrier Reef [all before getting married].

I have traveled a few places in this beautiful country/continent, Australia [Katoomba (Blue Mountains), Kiama, Woy Woy, Melbourne, Perth and Margaret River] and some places in India [Mumbai being my fav].

PHILOSOPHY

Judge nobody. Respect the choice.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I organize the geocaching event! Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS-enabled devices.
This game introduces us to corners of Sydney, which I would not imagine myself seeing otherwise. It also gives us a chance to leave my mark (by writing my name in hidden places) in the city (I did in Melbourne, Perth and Margaret River!)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My CS experience has been a ride like the dune-bashing in deserts!
I think the people who keep the spirit of CS alive are few, but are the few nice people I have met in Australia! For example, my host in perth was the nicest ever. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
There are some, who mistake this community to be a dating site. I have received messages from men indicating an interest, which I am not out looking for. I wish that someday they would understand what the CS spirit is.

Interests

Sightseeing (like the coastal walk or the scenic drives), petting dogs and playing with cats, dancing, geocaching.

Music, Movies, and Books

Travel is incomplete without a good friend, a good fiction book and some upbeat music.
I have a few fav books that I can list.. actually more than a few.. but my top 3 would be:
1. Elif Shafak - Forty Rules of Love
2. Paulo Coelho - The Alchemist
3. "Rework" by Jason Fried, David Heinemeier Hansson

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing experience was when I went for a treasure hunt in the city of Sydney. Who knew there were SO many places to discover and so many things to find!

Countries I’ve Visited

Countries I’ve Lived In
