Overview
About Me
I’m Aditi, an engineering student from India who believes the world is best understood not through guidebooks, but through people.
I’m curious by nature — about how people live, what they eat, the music they listen to, the languages they speak, and the little everyday things that make each culture unique. I love meaningful conversations, quiet moments, and spontaneous adventures equally.
When I’m not studying computer science, you’ll probably find me listening to music, watching anime, playing piano, or dreaming about my next destination. I’m calm, respectful, open-minded, and always eager to learn something new from the people I meet.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I don’t want to just visit places — I want to live them.
More than seeing famous landmarks, I want to experience daily life as locals do: walking the streets they walk, eating what they eat, speaking their language (even if broken at first!), and understanding how the world looks through their eyes.
I’m especially fascinated by cultures outside India, and China is a country I’m deeply interested in exploring one day — its language, traditions, food, and philosophy truly inspire me.
For me, Couchsurfing is about human connection, cultural exchange, and becoming a small part of many worlds.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
I love songs that I can play on repeat — a mix of chill, emotional, and soft vibes that are perfect for long walks, late nights, and travel moods. I enjoy discovering new sounds from different cultures too.
Movies & Shows:
Anime like Attack on Titan and Naruto really inspire me. I also love Bollywood films like Ok Jaanu and Jab We Met, and I’ll always have a soft spot for Disney movies and their magic.
Books & Genres:
I mostly read murder mystery, romance, and slice of life — stories that either keep me guessing or make everyday life feel special.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most amazing things I’m doing is preparing myself for a life where I can live and work across different cultures — studying engineering while actively learning about the world beyond textbooks.
Getting selected for a competitive internship at Adobe was a proud moment for me, but what excites me even more is using my career to travel, meet people, and build a life that connects cultures and technology.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach:
1) Stuff about tech
2) Indian culture and traditions
3) Simple piano/music basics
4) Hindi and English (I'm also learning Chinese)
I want to learn:
1) New languages
2) Local traditions and ways of life
3) How people think in different cultures
4) Cooking local food
I love sharing:
Stories, music, cultural perspectives, and deep conversations about life.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my culture, my stories, and my curiosity about yours.
I’ll always respect your space and home, help with small chores, and bring positive energy. I love meaningful conversations, cultural exchange, and learning from everyday moments.
If you host me, you won’t just have a guest — you’ll have a friend who genuinely wants to understand your world.
