About Me
Hello! My name is Aditya Kumar. I have been born and brought in Delhi, India.
I have done my graduation in Statistics from Delhi University and currently, I have been offered the prestigious Young India Fellowship Program at Ashoka University where I am majoring in History and Literature.
Over a period of time, I have developed my interest in history, Literature, philosophy and economics. I try to find connections of historical events to modern times. It really excites me to see how the time has really changed but human interactions still remain the same and somehow we fail to learn from the past. The irony, isn't it?
My key areas of interest include sports, reading and travelling; understanding how different cultures evolve over a period of time and listen to stories about people from people.
I am also doing my research on the topic - "What is the truth"
I am a good listener; if you have a story to share, you have my ears. And if you have time with you, come listen to my story but I am not sure whether you will like it or not, but definitely, it will leave you with some questions to answer.
I have travelled over 5 countries and I am visiting Russia for the first time in the month of June 2019. Any help, suggestion or advice are welcome :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am here to meet and interact with a diverse set of people. Share stories and experiences with each and find the relatable themes in them. It is crazy to see, how we live in different countries under the influence of very different culture, environment and values but in the end, we all are still the same.
Interests
Apart from the things which I have mentioned above:
I seek interest in politics, capital markets and social work.
I love listening to music. It's amazing to see how people are able to articulate things so beautifully with their lyrics.
