About Me

I am an Industrial Engineer and a Mechanical Engineer trying to discover my soul by traveling, before i start working, especially after the struggle is finally over. I love meeting new people and discovering new places. Hiking and camping is something I would love to do anywhere and everywhere. I also love beer and am excited to learn more about beers from different regions/breweries. I am a musician and I enjoy discovering music of different parts of the world.

P.S. - I live in Boston and I am not a Masshole :P

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This was recommended by a really good friend of mine who has been Couchsurfing since a long time here in US and in Europe. I found it an amazing way to travel plus connect with new people. It really really makes your trip worthwhile when you meet like-minded people. I want to experience CS first hand and here I am :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I’m not much of a reader but I am a musician (or atleast used to be). I was a guitarist in 3 bands back during my undergrad days. Things got real during grad school and I did not find time to pursue music. I also sing and play Ukulele. Not a movie person but I watch most of the good ones. I watch a lot of TV Series - Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, True Detective, The Office, FRIENDS, House of Cards - are some of my favorites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being independent in every aspect (even financially) away from home for 2 and half years to achieve something you always dreamt of. Living 7600 miles away from your family and best friends, but making new ones here in the US — worth it, yeah?

What I Can Share with Hosts

My memories from wherever I have traveled so far. Life has taught me too many lessons very early on and I have the best advices and/or stories to share.

Countries I’ve Visited

India, Malaysia, Nepal, Oman, Singapore, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United States
