Our Apartment is next to Metro Station with Convenient Store next to our Apartment and lots of Street Food nearby. We can Host 2 to 3 people in our home. (though we put hosting preference to 15 guests , This is to enable others sending requests just in case other surfer decide to cancel their stay )

• We can take our guests around the city if time permits because we have a kid.

• We provide private room, shared Room, living Room, Couch, and Soft Comfortable Sleeping Mattress depending on availability.

• Wifi is available with 5g connectivity if we have renewed it's subscription.

I am a Travel Consultant by profession and i keep my business and couchsurfing 100% seperate. I adere to couchsurfing spirit at optimum. I don't sell anything to Couchsurfers guests. However they can always benefit from my 10yrs in this industry if I can answer any question.

you can take sim card at airport from Airtel for around INR 300. It's a prepaid connection with 1.5g data per day with unlimited calling.

We welcome CS with open hearts.

× Scams to avoid in Delhi:

• At airport:

- you'd pump into guys offering an affordable taxi ride to wherever you want to go and then would end up charging you much more.
- In case you need to exchange money at airport, make sure to avoid the guys coming to you asking if you're interested in money exchange.

• Delhi center

- If by any chance you're wandering around city centre and someone asked you if you're interested in having a tour and then told you it'd be better to consult the " Tourist Information Center, Ministry of tourism, Govt of India", you better avoid it because it's a scam office.

About Our Couchsurfing Experience negative/learning experiences.

Few years ago we had a challenging experience hosting two couchsurfers, Sofie and Menas. While we’ve encountered similar situations before, this time we decided to share our story to raise awareness among fellow hosts. We feel it’s our responsibility to maintain the spirit of Couchsurfing and to inform others about such behaviors, even if it results in receiving negative references.

Unfortunately, Sofie and Menas approached their stay in a way that didn’t align with the values of Couchsurfing. They seemed more focused on freeloading rather than fostering a genuine exchange of culture, time, or gratitude. For example:

Meals: When asked about dinner plans, they would claim they weren’t very hungry, only to later eat without hesitation when food was offered. Despite this, they didn’t reciprocate or contribute to shared meals. In some cases, they even helped themselves to meals prepared by other couchsurfers staying with us.

Interaction: They often spent the day sightseeing and would return in the evening, heading straight to their room for rest. When they did join us in the living area, it often seemed tied to meals rather than genuine interaction. Sofie, for instance, bluntly asked to taste food but didn’t contribute after the first day.

Couchsurfing Spirit: Their actions suggested a lack of understanding or appreciation for the core values of Couchsurfing. We observed behaviors that felt entitled and inconsiderate, such as taking advantage of others' hospitality without reciprocating.

We also noticed interpersonal dynamics between Sofie and Menas that seemed complicated, but that is, of course, a personal matter for them.

On their last two days, we chose to minimize interactions, and they left a day earlier than planned. While we hold no personal grudges against them, we believe such behavior doesn’t reflect the true essence of Couchsurfing.

To Fellow Couchsurfing Hosts:
If you’re a considerate guest, rules and suggestions are often mere formalities. Mutual respect, gratitude, and genuine interaction are the foundation of this community. Let’s work together to maintain the spirit of Couchsurfing alive.

Also before CS we used to stay in hotels but after using CS. the experience we got. Cz acc to me if u stay in hotels that doesn't make any difference whether you are in this city or that city but if you stay with locals you'll get to know a lot about their food, culture, environment, the way they live, the normal daily chores are also performed in a Lil different way and that's just so much fascinating to us. We have learnt a lot from this so we on couch surfing to live like a local wherever we are.
