About Me
CURRENT MISSION
The world is pretty big, our life is pretty short. I move around so I can make the most of both. Are you still living at home?
ABOUT ME
I plan to live my life as a wanderer. I travel from between places and cultures but rarely as a tourist. Learning about a new place and laughing with its people takes time but I figure I have my whole life for this journey around the world. In the end I will measure my wealth with the amount of stories I have and number of friends on this planet.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
1) New people from new cultures in new places. I am a closet anthropologist.
2) The best way to visit a new place is through the stories of the people who live there.
3) I move around a lot. Living in one place in a house sounds a bit slow for me. Couchsurfing has helped me find friends in every new city I have lived in over the past few years.
Interests
Acting in theatre plays. I prefer Chekov to Skakespeare.
Surfing in remote beaches. I prefer being in the ocean than spending time in surf bars in a hoodie.
Cooking new recipes. You give me a recipe from your culture and I will find a way to make it spicy in a balanced flavorful way. Seriously!
Writing stories to explore my subconscious. I would show them to you but I am afraid that you might know me better than I know myself.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
I am into minimal house, trip hop, post rock. Like Moderat, Apparat, Miike Snow, Massive Attack, Portishead. I also really artists like Alt J, Chet Faker, Daughter, GOAT, Crystal Fighters, The Neighborhood, Leure. I could go on. I probably shouldn't.
Movies:
Man I am really into films and TV. I don't watch hardly as many films as I used to as a student (bit of a workaholic these days). I really like Wes Anderson. I think Woody Allen makes funny films. Oh and David Fincher IS THE MAN.
Last TV show I really enjoyed was Mad Men.
Currently reading: On the Road by Jack Kerouac.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent a summer working at Google in Mountain View CA. I worked as a researcher and designer for their Google+ social network. I worked with some of the smartest most inspiring people I have ever met and it was the most inspiring moment of my life.
Also free food and summer waves in Santa Cruz! Whoop whoop.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have been learning since I left home almost 7 years ago. I would like to say that I learnt everything by myself, but who I am kidding?
I can teach you about design and cooking.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Life is made up of stories. I and love to share my stories. I also crack a lot of jokes, some of them are funny. (#pinkypromise)
I also enjoy cooking. Cooking 3 hours on Friday night is my idea of decompressing after 50 hour work week. If your into Indian food, I can rustle up something spicy for you!
