ABOUT ME

I'm not one of your extraordinary individuals who leave a very lasting impression, but I have always found it easy to make friends. I'm a music enthusiast, albeit a little out of touch, and a beginner guitarist. I'm gregarious, don't have a boisterous personality, and I love chatting over a quiet drink much more than dancing at discs/nightclubs.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm a beginner, with no experience, although I have friends who are couchsurfers/hosts. I have met a few people through them (from Chile, Germany) and loved chatting with them and showing them around. I hope to do the same myself!

Interests

Music of any kind. I play the guitar, and my wife is learning the piano, so it's a quite a nice mix. I'm also a gaming enthusiast (PC). LOVE eating, therefore trying to lose weight. Semi nerd, semi geek.

Music, Movies, and Books

Almost any kind of movies (barring really silly ones, NO to most Bollywood films). Love sci-fi, fantasy, SFx, as well as the great directors (Bergman, Ray, Godard, Kubrick, Kurosawa, Kiarostami, Fellini, etc). Any music that's melodious, not really into punk/death metal. Love country music, LOVE Dylan. Moderate reader (wife is voracious) -- classics, Asimov, Bradbury, Pullman, Gaiman, Colin Dexter, PD James, Toni Morrison, Murakami -- the list goes on!
